
Robert E. Kithcart, 76, of Mansfield, died Sunday, August 13, 2006, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a brief illness. Born June 15, 1930, in Mansfield, he was the son of Thomas and Mary Karsmizki Kithcart. He was a veteran of the United States Marines serving during the Korean War. Bob retired from United Telephone ' Sprint in 1990 after 41 years of service. He was a member of the Venus Lodge #152 F&AM, Sons of Herman and Amvets #26. His granddaughter, Ivy, held a special place in his heart and he dearly enjoyed the many things they did together.
Surviving are two sons, Gerald Kithcart and Kevin Kithcart both of Mansfield; his granddaughter, Ivy Kithcart; many special family friends, including Merilyn Kiley and Anita Kithcart; a sister-in-law, Toni Estep; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy A. Estep Kithcart; and two sisters, Mary Csordas and Naomi Hergatt.
Friends may call from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Private graveside services will be held in Mansfield Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice.
