Robert Wynn

Robert P. Wynn, 84, of Mansfield died Sunday evening May 25, 2008 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Robert was born May 8, 1924 in Mansfield, Ohio to Lester Ord & Fannie Gayle Terry Wynn. He served in the U.S. Army and was a custodian for the Mansfield City School systems. Robert was a member of Lincoln Heights Baptist Church and also enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Wynn of Mansfield; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Joyce Wynn of Crestline and Greg Wynn of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Sarah John Geiger, Josh Wynn and Larry Wynn; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Richard "Junior" Wynn of the Philippines and John L. Wynn of Sacramento, CA; one sister, Betty McConnell of Ashland; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Larry Wynn and one brother, Charles W. Wynn.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Thursday May 29, 2008 one hour prior to the 2:30 p.m. funeral services conducted by Pastor Mike Wilson. Burial will be held in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lincoln Heights Baptist Church.
