He was preceded in death by his father, Denver Gray Parker. He leaves behind his mother, Donna Kissel and step mother, Kathy Parker; two brothers, Allen Parker and Richard Kissel; one sister, Denise Bookman; wife, Theresa Parker; three daughters, Becky (Steve) Dlesk, Vanessa (Dan) Walls and Jennifer (Tony) Carmel; seven grandchildren, Austin Dlesk, Audrey Dlesk, Mya Berrier, Allyson Walls, Mason Walls, Alyssa Carmel and Loren Carmel; and one great-granddaughter, Kaizen Sanford.
Rod was always caring, happy and quick with a joke. He loved to go fishing, camping and hunting, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Fusion Church, 220 Industrial Drive, Lexington, Ohio 44904.
