Roger Dale Robinson Sr.

Roger Dale Robinson Sr., 65, of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Roger was born on September 14, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio and was the son of Samuel and Connie (Jensen) Robinson.

Roger received a Purple Heart while serving in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a long time Boy Scout Leader. He enjoyed going to the library with his wife, putting puzzles together, watching television, and enjoyed doing genealogy.

He is survived by his wife, Judy (Turner) Robinson; sons, Mark Conatser of Shelby, and Roger (Jessica Bursley) Robinson Jr. of Mansfield; grandson, Hunter Conatser; sisters, Kathye (Stanley) Schafer of Canton, Donna Prater of Cleveland, and Linda (Retna) Lingam of Provo, Utah; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Beach; and step mother, Goldie Robinson.

The family will welcome friends on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1951 Middle Bellville Road. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in Mansfield Memorial Park. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the Robinson family.
