Ronald Wayne Kirk, Sr., 65, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at his home after a long illness. Born February 20, 1944 in Mansfield, he was the son of Lester Sr. and Margaret Brauchler Kirk. He retired from MTD Trucking. Ronald enjoyed golfing, bowling, and watching the ball game.
He is survived by four children, Kimberly Kirk and Brennan Edwards of Mansfield, Ronald W. Kirk, Jr. of Shelby, Brent Allen Kirk, and Julie Ann Kirk, both of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Jessica Hickman, Dante Kirk, Warren Kirk, and Payton Kirk; mother, Margaret Brauchler Kirk; brother, Lester Kirk, Jr. of West Middlesex, Pennsylvania; four nieces and their spouses; two nephews and their spouses; and former wife and caregiver, Cheryl Small of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Kirk, Sr.; and sister-in-law, Betty Lou Kirk.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 5, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Mansfield conducted by Pastor Tim Storms. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MedCentral Hospice.
