Ronald Nagel

Ronald Hutton Nagel, 59, died early Monday morning, October 13, 2008, at his home. Born January 21, 1949, in Mansfield, he was the son of the late Lewis H. and Patricia Turner Nagel. He worked for Scodova and Associates for 26 years as an accountant. Ron was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, the Lexington-Shelby Elks Club and Amvets Post #26. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time together at Jellystone Park Campground.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Kepple Nagel; four children, Ron Nagel, Jr. Sheila Finley, Lisa Nagel and Jenny Nagel Ron Bond, all of Mansfield and Melanie Larry Pierce of Perrysville; four grandsons, Skyler, Mason, Cameron and Dylan; three granddaughters, Elizabeth, Ann and Kim; five brothers, Brian Sue Nagel of Delaware, Bruce Carol Nagel, Bob Nagel, Bill Amy Nagel and Lewis Nagel, all of Mansfield; a sister, Jude Jon Colby of Burney, CA; two stepsisters, Janet Loren Roberts of Loudonville and Brenda Griff Hurrell of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, October 15, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Rector Emeritus David S. Sipes officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
