Ronald Howard Sowash, passed away at OhioHealth Mansfield on Monday, February 5, 2024.

Ronald was born on September 6, 1946 in Mansfield, Ohio. He was the son of Richard Sowash and Thelma (Brokaw) Allen. Ronald retired from D&D Emulsions. He served our country in Vietnam in the United States Army. Ronald was a class car enthusiast, especially his 1969 Firebird Convertible. He appreciated all kinds of music and loved to take to the dance floor when he had the opportunity. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching football but golf was his favorite past time. He once had a hole-in-one at Forest Hills.

He is survived by his children, Nichole (Ryan) Sheline and Chad (Julie) Sowash; sisters, Pat Goodman, Sherry Bonnett, Marty Jo (Mike) Williams; 4 grandchildren; special lady and caregiver, Judy Hatfield; and special friends, Mark White and Joe Riffe. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Sowash; his mother, Thelma (Gordan) Allen; his wife, Sherry Sowash; brothers-in-law, Benny Goodman and Todd Bonnett; and his nephew, Tommy Ramsey.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services by Wappner is honored to serve the Sowash family.
