
Rosa C. Hagerman, age 90, of Mansfield, died early Thursday morning April 12, 2007 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Hagerman was born May 28, 1916 in Mansfield living here all of her life. She retired from Buff's Lawn Garden, Ashland, Ohio. Following retirement she was active with her daughter-in-law, Barbara Hagerman in Hagerman's Creative Ceramics teaching how to make ceramics & porcelain dolls. Mrs. Hagerman was a member of First English Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Ann Sprague of Hampton, Virginia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard & Barbara Hagerman, James & Linda Hagerman all of Mansfield; eleven grandchildren, Jack & his wife, Suzy Sprague, Ron & his wife, Denise Sprague, Becky & her husband, Jeff Highter, Barry & his wife, Patricia Sprague, Ted & his wife, Monica Sprague, Wendy & her husband, Matt Hylton, Steven & his wife, Karen Hagerman, Mari & her husband Tony Colace, Michael & his wife, Melissa Hagerman, Michelle Hagerman and Bryan & his wife, Kara Hagerman. She was also lovingly called Grandma Rosie by eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern Hagerman; her parents, Karl A. & Anna Nill Hess; a son-in-law, Chester Sprague; a sister, Linda Burdett and a great-granddaughter, Candace Harp.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Sunday from 5-9 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. Paul Lintern. Burial will follow in Windsor Park Cemetery. A special thank you to all of Rosa's caregivers. Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurses of Mansfield.
