Ruby retired from White Westinghouse and worked part time at Puralator Courier for twenty years. She was in the Mansfield Bowling Hall of Fame. She loved her cat, Cookie and enjoyed bowling, golfing, bingo, casino trips, and doing puzzles.
She is survived by her five children, Tom (Barb) Metz, Bill Metz, Tim (Tasha) Metz, Robert (Cindy) Metz and Lisa (Bob) Ohly Paramore; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Beulah Frank, Eleanor Danals, and Norma Hunter; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Caroline Peters and Edna Daubenspeck; and two brothers, Bill Baker and Junior Baker.
The gathering of family and friends will be held from 10-11am on Friday, October 13, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. A memorial service will be officiated by Dr. Steven B. Burggraf will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home.
