Sandy was born on April 9, 1951, to the late Charles and Lois Robinson. She dedicated more than 30 years of her life to education as a teacher with Mansfield City Schools, where she made a lasting impact on generations of students. Even after retirement, Sandy continued sharing her love of learning by teaching adult education classes.
Outside the classroom, Sandy found joy in crafting, especially knitting and crocheting. She was known for her creativity and the care she put into everything she made. Above all, she was a loving and devoted grandmother who never missed a sporting event, school program, or special moment in the lives of her grandchildren. Her favorite role was being known as “Grammie”. Supporting her family and celebrating their achievements brought her great happiness.
Sandy will be remembered for her kindness, dedication to education, and the love she shared with her family and community.
She is survived by her daughters, Torrie (Chad) Triplett and Katie (Eric) Calhoun; a brother, Larry (Minerva) Robinson; grandchildren, Sky Holbrook, Ezra Triplett, Brynn Calhoun and Davis Calhoun; ex-husband, Craig Richardson and many beloved family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her brothers, Donald Robinson and David Robinson; and step grandson, Jacob Stanley.
Family and friends may visit on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 1-4pm at the Life Celebration Reception Center, 129 S. Main Street, Mansfield.
