

Sandra M. Schuster, of Nova, went to be with her Lord, Friday evening, February 14, 2014 after a courageous fight. Sandra was born May 18, in Ashland, Ohio to Clebert (Cy) and Effie (Mitchell) Swineford. Sandra grew up in Amherst and graduated from Amherst High School.
Sandra was blessed with two devoted children and four wonderful grandchildren. Sandra was a loving, caring, devoted mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend.
Sandra and her family owned the Reed House Restaurant in Nova. She and her son owned Grumbellies Restaurant in Ashland. Her love of food and people continued, as she presently was Funeral Food Coordinator at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Sandra loved cooking and her friendships with people. Most important to her was her " Co- pilot", The Lord and her family. Her grandchildren were the highlight of her life. She enjoyed going to their sporting/school events, traveling with them and just being with them. Sandra was a woman of strength and shared her strong will with her family, so freely.
She also enjoyed gardening, writing, ice skating, shopping and had an adventurous spirit for life.She was a life-long,active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved her church and the friendship's she had there. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Gregory Schuster (Cara); four grandchildren, Kaylee, Casandra, Nicole and Triton of Ashland; daughter, Brenda Shymske (Scott) of Polk; loving sister, Susanne Sheppard (Dean) of Nova; brother, Richard Swineford (Betty) of Ashland; brother, Charles Swineford (MaryAnn) of Huron; nephew, Ryan Sheppard (Janeane) of Nova; niece, Michelle McKean (Tim) of Nova; several other nieces and nephews; and dedicated friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 508 Center Street, Ashland, Ohio. A celebration of Sandra's life will follow with a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will proceed following the memorial service at the Nova Cemetery, Nova, Ohio.
