Sarah Reese

Sarah M. Reese, 81, of Mansfield died Sunday morning, September 5, 2004 at Woodlawn Nursing Home after an extended illness. Sarah was born October 24, 1922 in East Liverpool, OH to the late Donald W. and Matilda J. Barnes. For the past twenty-two years, Sarah was a loving wife and homemaker. She Worked at Ohio Bell and Mansfield Telephone Company, where she was a telephone operator.

She is survived by her husband George R. Reese of Mansfield; two daughters, Sara Becky and Stanley Zeigler of Mansfield, Carolyn and Ronald Keiser of Shelby; one son, Robert and Cindy Thomas of Wasilla, Alaska; six grandchildren, Donald Zeigler and his Fiancée Lori Strassel, Beth and Mike Shaughnessy, Robert Keeton, Russell and Amanda Roley, Dylan Thomas, Sarah Thomas, eleven great grandchildren; a sister, Donna and Richard Sulkoske of Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, her first husband, William Wilson whom died in World War II; and her second Husband Robert J. Thomas preceded her in death.

Funeral services, conducted by Pastor Wray C. Smith, will be held at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Thursday, September 9, 2004 10:30 a.m. Friends may call Wednesday, September 8, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the Donor's Choice.
