He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Cooper McPeek of Guam, his step-son Justin Cooper of Missouri, his mother and father Roy and Virginia McPeek and his brother Steven McPeek all of Lompoc, CA, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by all of his grandparents and by his aunt Eudora McPeek.
After graduating from Cabrillo High School, Lompoc, CA he worked as a security guard on Vandenberg Air Force Base. He also attended Allan Hancock College, Santa Maria, CA where he earned a certificate in the Automotive Mechanics course, and through the semi truck driving course, he obtained his license to drive semi trucks and passed the Haz Mat test. On his first interview and test drive he was offered a long haul job, but worsening health problems and other conditions altered the course of his life.
He was later involved in a 5 car pile-up in foggy conditions in which his back was broken. Then, for years he coped with massive cancer until finally, with his wife by his side, he passed on to a more peaceful place.
