Sean Keith Earl Rock

He was a member of the Young Marines from the age of 8 to 13. He loved to hunt, camp, fish, be outdoors, and at the age of 10, bagged his first buck in 2001, a six-pointer. At the young age of 11, he won 3rd place in the spring Turkey contest at Sportman's Den in Shelby, a whopper of a bird with a 10 1/4" long beard. Sitting around the campfire with friends and family was one of his favorite ways to pass the time. Sean loved making people laugh and was such a happy and caring man. He attended Mansfield Senior High School until 9th grade, then was home schooled and received his diploma. If you did right by Sean, he would always be there for you and would do anything in his control to help others. His family was most important to him and he loved his children fiercely.

Sean loved his music-pop and rock were his favorites-and he listened to it all the time. He enjoyed being on FaceBook, staying close to people he cared about. He used YouTube like an encyclopedia, looking up a wide range of topics. Sean was a huge fan of many sports, but his favorites were Ohio State, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers. He was a MMA fighter. Basketball was his favorite sport to play and he referred to it as his "get away spot" where he could be alone with his thoughts. Sean was a great cook and mastered all kinds of dishes. Fried green tomatoes were his favorite and he enjoyed eating out at the Chinese restaurant.

He is survived by his parents, Michael Earl and Charlene (Robinson) Rock; three children, Kylee Lynn rock, Khloe Jo Rock and Keith Michael Rock; sister, Kristy (Jess) Stimens; three nephews, Jesse Stimens II, Thomas Stimens and Trevor Jordan Rock; a niece, Tailey Stimens; grandmother, Mary Rock; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Walter Roy Rock; niece, Sophia Charlynn Rock; grandfather, Jess Rock; and grandparents, Walter and Nell Robinson.

There will be no service at this time. Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the family.
