Shaun McCusker

Shaun Robert McCusker, 16 of Mansfield, died Wednesday February 9, 2005 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born December 22, 1988 in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of David McCusker and the late Susan Griffin. He was a sophomore at Lexington High School and had previously attended Lucas, where he played football and baseball. He loved fishing and snowboarding.

Survivors include his father, David McCusker; brother, Bryan Bahe of Mansfield; grandfather, Loren Bell of Florida; aunts and uncles, Ed and Deb Griffin, and Jim and Diane Griffin, Roy and Donna Griffin all of Florida, Joyce and Gene Miller, Bob and Evelyn Washburn all of Illinois, and Mary Rich of Arizona; cousins, Tiffany, Amy, Lea, Daniel, Andy, Shannon, and Troy Griffin, Dick and Sandy Wheeler, Brad and Karla Waltman, Brad and Kim Miller, Kathy Dietring, and Susan and Den Smith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Griffin. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and classmates.

Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday February 13, 2005 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 15 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Faith Proietti. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Shaun's mother, Susan Griffin, the D.A.R.E. Program, or the new Lexington Athletic Complex.
