Stanley R. Lomax, Jr., 64, of Lucas, passed away peacefully Monday, August 29, 2022 at his residence. Born September 12, 1957 in Crestline, Ohio, he was the son of Stanley R. Lomax, Sr. and Sondra L. (Metcalf) Lomax.
Stanley was a lifelong resident of the Lucas community where he was a 1974 graduate of Lucas High School.
Stanley was a steward of the land. He found joy in working with the fields as well as an arborist. His greatest joy in life was his family and his grandchildren were the brightest light in his life. He would always have a story to tell and would glow when he spoke to them.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Pam; his daughters, Dana (Aaron) Smith of Ashland, Renee (Tim) Eckstein of Ashland, Tara (Andy) Evans of Sunbury, Shawna (Eric) Hess of Columbus and Sherisa (Jeff) Butcher of Marysville; 19 grandchildren, Natalie, Kristen, Noah, Audrey, Isaac, Samantha, Zeke, Caleb, Grace, Esther, Levi, Judah, Corinne, Calvin, and new addition (Baby Boy) arriving in October, Jocelin, Justin, Juniper and Daphne; his mother, Sondra; sisters, Shelley (Jim) Spitzer of Bradenton, Florida and Sara (Greg) Rebman of Lucas; and beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley R. Lomax, Sr.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that a tree be planted in his memory.
