Steven Brian Shores, 50, of Mansfield, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at his home. Born December 31, 1961 in Mansfield, he was the son of Arthur W. and Gloria A. (Beeler) Shores. Steve loved fishing and gardening. He was a humble man who would reach out and lend a helping hand when needed. Steve had a big heart and a kind soul. He will be sadly missed by those who knew him and loved him.
He is survived by his father, Arthur W. Shores of Mansfield; brother, Marvin W. Shores of Mansfield; sister, Melinda L. Spayde of Mansfield; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield conducted by Rev. Christopher R. Thomas. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
