

Steven Cloyd Zeger, 53, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 1, 2018 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born October 24, 1965 in Galion, Ohio, he was the son of Cloyd and Marilyn (Gardner) Zeger.
Steven was a 1984 graduate of Delaware Hayes High School. A very hard worker, he worked for Newman Technologies and S & B Painting. He enjoyed football, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers. Steven was a very family oriented man who was a loyal, very caring and unselfish person. As an example of his caring and unselfish way, he was an organ donor hoping that his legacy would live on in others.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbi (French) Zeger; three children, Ciarra Zeger of Bucyrus, Eric Zeger and Ryan Zeger both of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Konner, Chloe and Chase; two sisters, Kimberly Zeger of Sarasota, Florida and Becky (Scott) Brooks of Orlando, Florida; and his mother-in-law, Charlotte French of Mansfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the service, from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
