Susan "Sue" Marie Chelski

Sue was one of five children and was born on July 1, 1947 in Mansfield, Ohio. She was the daughter of Richard and Faye Davis. A woman of faith, who was faithful to her word, Sue attended Crossroads Church. She had an artistic side with a love of making quilts and blankets. She was very giving of herself, she donated the blankets she made to needy children. She loved to garden, enjoyed feeding the birds, liked playing cards and spoiling her cats.

Sue is survived by her children, Beth Holmes and John Chelski; her grandchildren, Ashley (Thom Pfiffner) Chelski, Austin Holmes, and Andrew (Destinee) Holmes; her siblings, Glenn (Barb) Davis, Bruce (Mary) Davis, Bev (Jimmy) Stewart, and Richard Davis; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son-in-law, Greg Holmes.

A Celebration of Sue’s Life will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 2:00 pm at 57 Yoha Dr. Mansfield, OH 44907. Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield is honored to serve the Chelski family.
