Theresa Keiper

Theresa spent her life serving others. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she could often be found working hard at some task to provide for her family. A gardener all her life, she loved to preserve and share the bounty of her harvests - whether freezing sweet corn, canning homemade jam or arranging dried flowers. She was a dedicated member of the Apostolic Christian Church and often interceded for others in prayer. As a faithful friend, she often visited the sick and lonely in their times of need. Even into her late years, she volunteered much of her time, touching many lives with her gentle spirit. She will long be remembered by anyone who knew her.

Theresa is survived by her children, Butch (Linda) Keiper of Seville, Dave (Paula) Keiper of Mansfield, Linda (Dean) Sabo of Phoenix, AZ, Rick (Lisa) Keiper of East Greenville, PA, Mark (Sandy) Keiper of Medina, Paul Keiper of Cleveland, Diane (Sam) Katanic of Boynton Beach, FL; brother, John Fetzer of Medina; 22 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Keiper; son, Jerry Keiper; great-grandson, William Kennedy IV; granddaughter, Amanda Katanic; and 13 siblings.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2018, in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 7, at 11:00 a.m. in the Apostolic Christian Church, 84 N. Illinois Avenue, Mansfield, where Theresa was a long-time member.
