Thomas J. Foltz, 82, of Mansfield died Friday, November 9, 2001, at the Ohio Veteran's Home in Sandusky. He was born March 5, 1919, in Crestline, Ohio to Benjamin and Haley Bell Foltz and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Mr. Foltz retired from General Motors as a tool and die maker. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII on the Battleship Wyoming.
Survivors include a son, Anton Foltz and his wife Sherry of Mansfield; daughter, Theresa Jeremy of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Lana Jones, and Benjamin and Samantha Jeremy. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bradford Foltz; a sister, Mary Balentine; and his wife, Janice R. Foltz.
There will be no services or calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio Veterans Home, 3416 S. Columbus Ave., Sandusky, Ohio, 44870-5598. Wappner Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
