Thomas L. Fry, 65, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born January 25, 1943 in Lima, he was the son of Clifford and Treva Hartman Fry. He graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1961 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1968 on the USS Benjamin Stoddert. Thomas previously worked at United Telephone and the Mansfield News Journal. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed watching NASCAR.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William "Mick" and Staci Fry of Loudonville and Tim and Christy Fry of Grand Junction, Colorado; four grandchildren, Garett, Sydney, Katie, and Jack Fry; brother, William Fry of Leetonia, Ohio; and sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Stephen Cox of Naples, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private burial in Wooster Cemetery will be held at a later date. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to assist the family of Thomas L. Fry.
