Tim was born May 27, 1960 in Mansfield, Ohio, and was the son of Joseph and Irene (Skaggs) Boggs. He married Joyce Heimberger on June 6, 1981, and together they shared 42 magnificent years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful life and family. Affectionately known as “PaPa” by his grandchildren, Tim loved making memories with them. He was a family man who worked hard and was willing to help anyone in need.
Tim was a 1979 graduate of Lucas High School. For 18 years, he owned and operated the J & J Super Valu in Lucas. He was employed for the Local 735 Carpentry Union where he became a regional business agent for the Carpentry Union as well as a financial secretary and delegate. Tim served as Washington Township Zoning Inspector. He was the center and valuable member of his community throughout his life. Always generous, contributing, supporting and community driven, Tim touched many lives of those in his community. He was a member of the FFA Alumni, and always volunteered to cook for the annual fundraiser.
Tim leaves behind his wife, Joyce Boggs; his children, Tara (Josh) Alexander, Timothy (Megan) Boggs, and Thomas (Allison) Boggs; his grandchildren, Lincoln, Madelyn, and Ellisyn Alexander, Jaxon Boggs, and Baby Girl A Boggs on the way; his siblings, Charlie (Faye) Boggs, Jack (Peggy) Boggs, Linda Harris, Ed (Jan) Boggs, Debbie (Dave) Pfleiderer, Rusty Boggs, Luk Boggs, and Matt (Laura) Boggs; his in-laws, Jerry Heimberger, Richard Heimberger, Janet (Roger) Maglott, JoAnne Heimberger, Connie (John) Caugherty, Carol (Larry) Toms, Phyllis Heimberger, Mary Dearing, Paul (Kathy) Heimberger, Michael (Patti) Heimberger, and Diane (Alan) Westfield; many extended family, a community of friends and coworkers.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents; and in-laws, Jim Harris and Cheryl Boggs.
Friends will be received from 4:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street. An additional hour of calling will be held from 10:00-11:00 am on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the funeral home. Pastor Dallas Waggle will officiate the funeral services beginning at 11:00 am.
