Timothy Pennington

Timothy Wayne Pennington, 31, of Mansfield, died Thursday evening, August 21, 2003 in Grayson, Kentucky due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mr. Pennington was born December 5, 1971 in Matewan, West Virginia residing in the Mansfield area for the past 13 years. He was self-employed in construction. Tim enjoyed his free time with his buddies, playing cards and shooting pool.

Surviving are his wife of 10 years, Heather Bassin Pennington of Mansfield; four daughters, Marissa, Melissa, Megan and Morgan Pennington all at home; his mother, Ramona Pennington of Huntington, West Virginia; five brothers and sisters-in-law, James F. and Debbie Fitzpatrick of Mansfield; Alfred J. and Kathy Pennington of Virginia; William Pennington of Matewan, West Virginia; Kevin and Terri Pennington of Huntington, West Virginia; and Brian and Sharon Pennington of Kentucky; Marsha Hansgen of Portsmouth, Ohio; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Larry and Evelyn Bassin of Mansfield; two brothers-in-law, Chad and Evan Bassin of Mansfield; numerous nieces and nephews; and two best friends, William 'Bo' Moore and Jade Dodson both of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred J. Pennington; and one brother, Robbie Pennington.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Sunday August 24, 2003 from 2-5 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Earl Tackett. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
