

Travis Browning, 43, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at his residence. Born September 23, 1967 in Mansfield, he was the son of Richard L. Browning, Sr. and Dolores (Boyd) Scott. He was a 1985 graduate of Pioneer and received an Associate Degree in Bio Medical Engineering from North Central State College and a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. Travis was employed at Peco 2 in Galion for 14 years and most recently employed at Energy Technologies Inc. as an Electrical Engineer Manager. Enjoying outdoor sports, he was an avid snow skier, loved working with computer design and he enjoyed photography and traveling but most important to him was spending time with his family especially with the love of his life, his wife Kimberly.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Wireman) Browning; his children, Jordan A. Browning of Bucyrus, Beau Bryant of Lima, Jordan M. Bryant of Columbus and Shannon Foust of Columbus; his mother, Dolores Scott; his mother-in-law, Doris Wireman of Mansfield; sisters, Jeanie Cushing of Mansfield and Marla (Steve) Turnbull of Pittsburgh, PA; nine nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law, Bryan (Mary Ann) Wireman of Lima. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Browning, Sr. and a brother, Richard L. Browning, Jr.
Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2011 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Faith Proietti where additional calling hours will be held two hours prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
