
Bill was born on May 16, 1949 in Willard, Ohio. He was the son of Doris Myers and step-father, Robert Hershner. Bill retired after many dedicated years of service from Jay Plastics, Inc. A faithful man of God, he attended Fellowship Baptist Church and Belmont Community Church. He was very talented and used his hands to build many things. He enjoyed time with his wife making arts and crafts. A dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, Bill was very proud of them all and each had a very special place in his heart. He was well loved by his neighbors and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed participating in garden tractor pulls, and has quite a collection of John Deere memorabilia. He volunteered at Raemelton Therapeutic Equestrian Center.
He leaves to cherish many fond memories his wife of 50 years, Linda Robinette Myers; his sons, Robbie (Tina) Myers, Bryan Myers, Terry (Karolyn) Myers, and Jerry (Susan) Myers; his grandchildren, Brad, Travis, Eric, Casey, Kerrigan, Carlie, Jacob, Brittany, Alex and Donavon; four great grandchildren; his siblings, Janice Bertram, Kenny (Vicki) Hershner, Doug (Gail) Hershner, and Louie Hershner; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joan Myers, Dewayne (Laura) Robinette, Kenneth Robinette, and Tanya Lohr; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Myers; and sister-in-law, Sandra Robinette.
Family and friends may visit from 2:00-4:00 pm on Monday, February 15, 2021 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street. Funeral services will follow immediately at 4:00 pm with Pastor Randy Raynes of Fellowship Baptist Church and Pastor Hank Webb of Belmont Community Church officiating.
