William Henry Brown, age 83, of 1004 N. Stewart Road, died Sunday June 15, 2003 in Detroit, Michigan following a brief illness. Mr. Brown was born September 19, 1919 in Decatur, Georgia. He retired from Unysis. Mr. Brown was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Surviving are two sons and daughter-in-law, Ronald &Beverly Brown of Detroit, Michigan and Gerald and Veronica Brown of Mansfield, Ohio; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Charlie & John Brown, and a sister, Rosalee Griffea, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Graveside service will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline, officiating by Rev. Dale Murphy and Rev. Ronald Jester.
