

He graduated from Mansfield Senior High in 1931 and took special training to become a tool and die maker. He worked at Cleveland Pneumatic Tool Co. for 36 years. During that time, he took leave for three years to serve in the U.S. Navy, most of the time on the destroyer U.S.S. Kearney in the Mediterranean Sea.
Bill was a successful gardener and was generous with his harvest. He enjoyed working with bees and, for several years, had between 15 and 20 hives of bees. Bill liked to travel and he and his wife, Mary, travelled the United States first and then travelled extensively all over the world.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Anderson) Frisbee, celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary on December 31, 2011. Special in his life were his nephew, Ross Frisbee (Rosemary) and niece, Sally Oswalt (Tom). He has several grandnieces and nephews who brought joy to his life. Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Roswell and Edward “Ted” Frisbee; and sister, Alice Davis.
A private funeral service conducted by Chaplain Mary Ann Short for immediate family only will be held at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. The family suggests contributions to Harbor Light Hospice, 2312 Village Park Court, Ontario, OH 44906.
