William "Bob" R. Hall

William "Bob" R. Hall, 86, formerly of Bellville, went home to Heaven to reunite with his wife on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby. Bob was the son of John Robert and Corrine (Tucker) Hall, and was born on September 24, 1930 in Bakersfield, California.

Bob was a simple man and enjoyed a simple life. He loved his family and especially enjoyed drawing with his grandchildren. He retired from the United Telephone Company after 21 years as a telephone lineman and previously worked at Henkel and McCoy. Bob was proud to have served our county in the United States Air Force from 1950-1954. In his spare time, he enjoyed making fishing lures, fishing, listening to classical music, and loving on his cats.

He is survived by his daughter, Patricia "Kathy" Parker (James Nolan); three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nine great great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Dena Mills; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Lucille V. Hall; brothers, Jim and Don Hall; a step daughter, Connie Aitken; a step son, Dave Mills; and a granddaughter, Stacy Mills.

At this time there will be no services observed. Burial will take place at Mansfield Cemetery at a later date. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the Hall family.
