William was a 1960 graduate of Mansfield Senior High. He was an Eagle Scout and later a member of the United States Marine Corps. William retired from Peabody Barnes where he worked as a tow motor operator, and also worked as a greeter at Walmart. William was a member of the VFW in Loudonville. William was a very giving person, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He also enjoyed sports.
William is survived by his son, William B. Jennings; and his brother, Jack (Karen) Jennings; brother-in-law, Stanley Secrist; and many nieces and nephews.
William was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Carol Lee Secrist.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Mansfield Memorial Park.
