
William M. Lambert, 69, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Samaritan Regional Health Center. He went home to be with God after losing his battle with leukemia. Born October 1, 1936 in Lewis County, Kentucky, he was the son of Dennis Lee and Dolly Frances Parker Lambert. He retired from Kokosing Construction and was a member of Local Labor #1216. Mr. Lambert was also a member of the Fifth Avenue Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, William L. Lambert of Mansfield; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Loretta and Kenneth Ball, Vicki Tucker, Sandra and Kirk Smith, and Karen and Roger Owens, all of Mansfield; ten grandchildren, Marvin Lee and Erica Lambert, Dustin Lambert, Peggy Sue Danielle Ball, Koty Shank, Kristin Owens, Brock Lambert, Kyle and Ryan Stamper, and Mickey Lambert; three great-grandchildren, Phoenix Jade, and Alvalon and Emma Nichole; four brothers; and five sisters. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Peggy Lambert; his parents, Dennis and Dolly Lambert; two sons, Marvin Lambert, and James Lambert; one brother, Hager Lambert; and one sister, Evelyn Stillwell.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2006 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Rick Pelfrey. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fifth Avenue Free Will Baptist Church.
