
William J. Musick, Sr., 71, of Mansfield, died early Sunday morning, April 16, 2006, at his home. Born November 14, 1934, in Moxahala, Ohio, he was the son of Robert and Lillian Stallings Musick. He was formerly employed at W.E. Musick Service Station Maintenance Inc. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Musick cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren, and enjoyed working in his workshop and yard.
He is survived by his wife of 51½ years, Iona Grace Shindeldecker Musick; a son, William Jr. and Lorie Musick of Lucas; a daughter, Janet Musick of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Tyler and Tiffany Musick of Mansfield; three brothers, Wayman and Kenneth Musick, both of Mansfield and Danny Musick of Logan; and three sisters, Eleanor Taylor and Donna Mae Taylor, both of Shelby, and Joan Bucher of Lucas. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert and Thomas Musick, and sister, Maxine Alexander.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Wednesday, April 19 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Russell Stanford. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
