William G. Poland, age 53, of 80 N. Adams, died January 5, 2000 after a brief illness. Mr. Poland was born in Mansfield, Ohio on November 22, 1946 and has been a resident most of his life. He was a Press Operator at Universal Enterprises and also a member of Hanna Road Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Surviving are one sister; Catherine Poland and special friend, Steve Shores of Mansfield, two brothers and sister-in-law; Charles R. Poland of Mansfield and James E. and Carol Poland of Beaver Falls, PA., three nieces; April Mae Poland, Miranda and Christina Leonard. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Zelda Poland.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 7, 2000 at 1:30 in Mansfield Cemetery conducted by Rev. Arthur L. Lowe.
