

He retired from Ashland Pump 42 years ago and became a self employed antique dealer and watchmaker. He enjoyed going to flea markets and auctions and loved fishing.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and William Collins of Athens; three grandchildren, Damon (Mindy) Sargent, Ashley Sargent and Lesley Wallace; seven great grandchildren, Tia, Eric, Destiny, Derrek, Colin, Dylan and Karma; several nieces and nephews; and good friends, Frank Foti, Mike Augustine, Greg Smith and Becky Murdock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three children, Pamela Sargent, William Joseph Sargent and Melody Sargent; two sisters, Mary Kiser and Sandra Lampman; and a good friend, Lloyd Murdock.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario conducted by Rev. George Reece. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., at the funeral home on Saturday.
