Zamien Elliot Scott

"Dearest baby, please know that our greatest blessing was having you". Zamien had a heart of gold and a very infectious smile; he was one of the happiest babies. Zamien spent most days watching Toy Story, playing with his big sister, playing with shoes, dancing, loving on mommy and daddy, and leaving everyone with a smile! He was loved by everyone who came into contact with him. Zamien loved to "fist bump".

Zamien was born October 19, 2016. His momma tried for weeks to get him out and was scheduled to be induced for the 20th, but little Zamien had a mind of his own, and was born the night before, arriving 30 minutes after getting to the hospital.

He is survived by his father and mother, Kyle and Kristi Scott; big sister, Logan Scott; paternal grandparents, Judith and Brian Scott; maternal grandparents, Lori and Troy Conrad; aunt, Hope Pigg; uncle, Sean Conrad; cousins, Ethan and Kalyn Pigg, Livia Carpenter, Paisley Dean; his God parents, Doug and Tauri Dell; and had a very special love from Breann Aiken and David Jenkins.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Bryson Scott; cousin, Justin Maffett; uncle, Brice Conrad; grandfather, Christopher Peck; and great-grandfathers, Richard Wayne Maffett, Sr. and Tom Podmore.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Crossroads Community Church, 1188 Park Avenue West, Mansfield. The memorial service will be held immediately following at 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the funeral home to benefit the family.
