April 3, 1938 - September 2, 2023
Harold, who graced us with his presence for 85 years, peacefully passed away on September 2, 2023, due to complications arising from a stroke. His early years were marked by residence in various places, including Detroit, Michigan, Houma, Louisiana, and Grants Pass, Oregon, with his final moments in Tucson, Arizona.
Harold's life was a tapestry of dedicated service, starting with his honorable tenure in the United States Air Force and spanning a remarkable 32-year career at the Asarco Mine, culminating in his well-earned retirement. Following retirement, he and his late wife, Diana, embarked on an extraordinary decade of exploration, journeying through numerous states across the United States and extensively across Canada. In later years, Harold briefly worked with GS4 Security before retiring once more at the youthful age of 80.
Harold was not only a man of dedication but also an impeccable and devoted father who made it a point to be present for his children's milestones and achievements. He is survived by his son, Mark and daughters, April, Katie and Vera. Sadly, his wife Diana and daughter Mary both passed away in 2016. Additionally, he is survived by his grandsons, Daniel, Hector, Juan Antonio, Jeffery, Jordan and granddaughters, Vanessa, Amy, Debra, Lisa, Tanya, Ashley, Chelsie, Christie, Alexis and Haleigh as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
