

In his lifetime, he loved hunting and archery. He was a member of the Marble Falls City Council. He worked for Texas Granite Corp. for 39 years. He was a crane operator when the dams were being built.
In 1949, he married the love of his life, Elizabeth (Kookie) Manley. They were both very active members of the First United Methodist Church. We will celebrate their lives together on Friday, August 21 at 11:00 a.m., at the F.U.M.C. in Marble Falls.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kookie. Survivors include his brother, Clayton Mezger and wife Rocky; son Eric Mezger and wife Pat; daughter Elaine Kurio; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
