

A memorial service will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Kingsland, Texas on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Noon.
Louis was born Feb. 2, 1923 to William and Elizabeth Luckenbach in La Coste, TX. He attended school in Seguin, TX and served in the Army during WWII. Following a brief period delivering eggs in the valley he joined Schlumberger Well Services as a perforation/logging engineer. He was stationed in Falfurrias, Luling and Alice Texas and then Kuwait, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. Following his retirement to Kingsland in the late 1970’s his passions were traveling the USA in his RV, maintaining his yard and playing bridge at the Highland Lakes Senior Center.
Louis was preceded in death by his wives, Helen Hanson and Loraine Mattingly and one son David. He is survived by his sister Mary Gooch of Kingsland and five sons, James and wife Julie of Carrollton, TX, Michael and wife Karen, Thomas, John and wife Tamara and Lawrence all of the Marble Falls area. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Louis was a gentle and loving man who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance.
