Marvin Darrel Thurman, born in Austin Texas on May 19, 1937 to Truman Darrel Thurman and Ethel Leola Thurman (Hudson) passed away on August 22, 2015 after a long fight with illness. Darrel was a native Bee Cave, Texas resident that was an avid supporter of the rodeo community & a lifelong rancher and cowboy that was loved by many. Darrel was preceded in death by his mother & father. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Barbara Nell Thurman (Parker), his 3 children; sons Jeff Thurman & Brad Thurman and daughter Dana Yarter, his 3 grandsons, a granddaughter and 1 great grandson as well as his sister Shirley Grumbles and her 3 sons. Visitation will be at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home on Monday, August 24, from 5-8 p.m. and the services will be at Bee Cave Baptist Church in Bee Cave on Tuesday August 25th at 11 a.m.
