Ronald Howard Poole

Ron Poole of Marble Falls, formerly of College Station passed away peacefully Wednesday July 11, 2012 at his home in Marble Falls. Ron was born December 29, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia to Harmon Poole & Louise Russell Poole. He spent his younger years in & around Houston, and moved to Livingston when he was 15.…where The Poole family lived for many years. Ronnie graduated from Livingston High School in 1967. He had lengthy careers both in the car business and in the oil field. Ron sold real estate in Bryan -College Station as well as Marble Falls after they moved there in 2008. He loved making people laugh with his insane sense of humor but was also incredibly determined. He was always the little man that could.

Ron is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bobbie, daughter Cindi Kay Poole-Ashford & husband Charlie and son Ryan Poole & Nancy Gomes. “Papa Ronnie ‘will be dearly missed by Wyatt, Jesse, Owen, Sebastian, & Nathaniel….and one little princess Grayce Catherine. He is also survived by his sister Jerri R. King, brother Joe Poole and his mother- in- law Idell Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harmon & Louise Poole and two brothers Rusty & Randy Poole as well as his father- in- law Bob Thomas.

A memorial service will be held at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston -Saturday July 21 at 1pm. Visitation with the family will be immediately after the service at the Thomas residence in Livingston.
