Rosalee Mandigo

She grew up in Spicewood and went to school in Round Mountain. Rosalee was married to Marion G Martin for 30 years until his passing in 1972. She married John Wendall Mandigo on June 1, 1974. Rosalee was in the US Army, and was also the head cook at Burnet High School and retired from there.

Rosalee was a person of compassion; caring, generous and readily gave of herself to others without expecting something in return. She was a person most people strive to become and really never meet.

She is survived by her husband John W Mandigo of Bertram, sons Marion Martin Jr and wife Darla of Bertram, Larry Martin and wife Fran of Belton, and daughter Therese Martin of Liberty Hill, grandchildren Terry Martin and wife Sherri, Mathew Martin and wife Kathy, Jeff Martin, Charlotte Landry, Brandon Lilly and Patrick Lilly,great grandchildren Zack Martin, Kylee and Caitlyn Martin, Jacob Rogers and Jordyn Landry, Chloe Martin, Morgan Lilly, Robert Lilly, Nancy Lilly, Karalena , Sierra, Blake, Cutter and Kayla Martin and great great grand children Harler and Ryann. Rosalee is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and close friends.

Rosalee is preceded in death by her husband Marion G Martin Sr.,son Michael Anthony Martin, grandsons Bobby Lilly, Dylan Martin, sisters Ethel Hays, Estelle Franklin, Thelma Matthews, Nellie Ruth Hays, Melba Ashabranner, and brothers Charlie Hays, and Andrew Hays.

Visitation will be held Wednesday June 25, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls, TX. Service will be Thursday June 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Bertram, TX. Interment to follow at Bear Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mathew Martin, Brandon Lilly, Jeff Martin, Blake Martin, Jacob Rogers and AJ Hays.
