She was born in Germany on July 10, 1962 to parents Frederick and Doris Atkinson.
Sherry had many interests, including cooking – Food Network was a favorite, reading – she had every Stephen King novel that was published, jigsaw puzzles and she had an expansive DVD collection. Sherry also had an expansive collection of Coke memorabilia and she was also very involved with women’s groups at First Baptist Church.
Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Cindy Hernandez and Hazel Atkinson and 1 brother, Billy Atkinson. She is survived by her husband, Robert. She is also survived by her brother, John Atkinson, sister in law Kathy Peters and son Dakota Thomas, brother in law Mike Wade and wife Joyce and brother in law Bruce Kennedy and wife Pam.
Sherry’s funeral service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church, Marble Falls, Texas. She will be laid to rest at the Burnet City Cemetery, Burnet, Texas.
