Theodore Leslie Guerry Jr

Ted was born on November 27, 1946 to Martha Ann Carroll and Theodore Leslie Guerry in Leonard Town, Maryland.

Ted was a resident of Houston, Texas and was an attorney and shareholder of Roberts Markel Guerry, P.C. until he retired from public practice in 2006. He served as in house counsel for Layton Corporation until his death.

He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1965 to 1969.

Ted is survived by his wife, Cheryl, son, Michael Gattis and wife Sarah Gattis of Houston, Texas, step-son, Jay Corder and wife, Daphne Corder of Austin, Texas, brother, John Guerry of Houston, Texas and father, Theodore L. Guerry, and three grandchildren, Lillian Gattis, Jennifer Corder and Lauren Corder.

The family wishes to thank Cancer Care Centers of South Texas, Texas Oncology, MD Anderson Cancer Care Center, Seton Highland Lakes Hospice and Nurses, Unlimited for their treatment and care.

A memorial service is planned at 3:00 p.m., May 14, 2013 at Trinity Episcopal Church, Marble Falls, TX.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, Seton Highland Lakes Hospice, Cocker Spaniel Rescue of East Texas-Houston, or the charity of your choice.
