Wanda Faye Gaston

She was born June 29th, 1938 in Morton Texas to Skinner Butler & Mildred Collins Butler.

She was a hairdresser for many years and managed the shop for her husband Lonnie Gaston. She also worked at our local Walmart for 17 years. Her favorite things to do were many. She loved to sew and made several quilts and throws for the family. She loved going to garage sales with her daughter. She also loved taking pictures and had many cameras. Doing crafts was another of her favorite things to do. She loved everyone, was a friend to everyone and loved time with her grandkids and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Lonnie Gaston, father Skinner Butler & mother Mildred Butler, brother Doyle Butler & brother Clifford Butler.

She is survived by her daughter Lowan and her son Clinton. Her Grandkids Jessie, Jessica, Christie, James & Alex. Great Grandkids Alexis, Kaylee, Myles & Ava. Her sister in law Linda Butler, sister in law Helia Butler as well as her dog “Mazy Grace” and many nieces, nephews, cousins & extended family.

Visitation for Wanda will be held Monday, March 24, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, Marble Falls, Texas. Her Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Wanda will be laid to rest in the Tobey Cemetery, Tobeyville, Texas. There will be a reception afterwards at Granite Mountain Baptist Church starting at 1 PM.
