Donald P. Ricci Sr, 78, passed away June 12, 2021 at Physicians Regional Hospital. Born March 31, 1943 in Rochester, PA. Don settled in Marco Island 48 years ago working for the Deltona Corp. as an excavating Supervisor for the original Marco Shores Country Club.
Don was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia A. Price, his parents, Margaret O. Schuck & Patrick Ricci, a stepfather, James G. Schuck Sr and a brother, Richard W. Ricci. He is survived by his son Donald P Ricci Jr. (DJ), 2 Granddaughters, Ashley N Kuhn (Alton), Taylor E Price (Tyler, Fiance), 3 Great Grand Children, Kennedy, Payton and Maxwell Kuhn and a brother, James G Schuck Jr. Don is survived by additional family members too numerous to mention!
Mr. Ricci came to Collier County from upstate New York. He resided in both Naples and Marco Island. Due to failing health he most recently resided at Lakewood Manor Care in Naples.
Don owned Marco Marine Construction, Inc for 40 years and was well known for his participation in Youth and Civic activities. He had a ready smile and a willing heart and he was always helpful when engaging with others.
As an avid golfer, he was a former member of Bear's Paw CC, Eagle Creek CC, Lely Classics CC, The Marco Island CC, as well as the Hideaway Beach Club.
Hodges-Josberger Funeral Home of Marco Island is in charge of his cremation and pursuant to Don's wishes, his Internment was held privately.
