

Jim worked in the retail industry and the bar and restaurant business for more than fifty years. He retired in 2006 after selling Taylor’s Pub I, II and III.
He is survived by his wife Jody of fifteen years. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Jane Taylor, Sister Nancy (Jerry) Wade, brother Bobby Taylor, daughter Shelley (Matt) Taylor Floyd, son Michael (Kathy) Taylor, step daughter Shelly Williams, stepson Michael Sampsell (Merc), thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, John Bill, sister Janet, son Jimmie Jr. and great-grandson Daniel.
Jim will be missed by so many friends on Marco Island, in Indianapolis and Illinois
A celebration of Jim’s life will be enjoyed by his friends and family at a date yet to be decided.
