

Bill was born March 8, 1956 in Kokomo, IN. He was the son of the late Thomas Eugene Ingels and Dorothy Susan (Padgett) Ingels.
Bill spent his first fourteen years in Kokomo, IN. He attended McKinley School and participated in Scouting & 4H. Bill always loved having a job to do. He worked on his paper routes, lawn mowing, snow shoveling, etc. After the family moved to Morris IL in 1970, Bill entered into his first restaurant experience at Drake’s Farm and the restaurant business became his life’s career.
Bill attended University of Wisconsin, Stout to pursue a degree in Restaurant Management. He held management positions with numerous national restaurant corporations throughout his career, and cherished the close friendships he made along the way. He eventually settled in La Fayette, IN.
Bill was an avid sports fan, especially Purdue Football & Basketball, and Chicago Bears Football. He loved phoning his brother in law Kirk, and friends in Lafayette to share in the successes of their favorite teams.
Bill retired to Naples, FL in 2014 and enjoyed the warm climate, his favorite neighborhood restaurants, new friends, and spending time with family. Bill had a quiet, gentle manner, but a quick wit and always made us laugh with his unexpected quips.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Eugene Ingels and Dorothy Padgett Ingels and his sister, Susan Jane Ingels. He is survived by his sister, Sara (Eric) Peterson of Marco Island, FL.
