Mrs. Ann M. Testa, 79 of Marietta passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. She was born on February 11, 1932 in Canton, Ohio to George and Anna Sprit. Ann graduated from Timkin High School in 1950. She married Sam Testa on September 23, 1951. They have lived in many places throughout their marriage, Cleveland, OH; Independence, OH; Worthington, OH; Bloomington, MN; Valley Forge, PA; and Ambler, PA; finally retiring in Marietta, GA. Ann was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She had a wonderful singing voice and passed the gift of music and song to her sons. Ann is survived by her husband, Sam Testa; her son’s, Sam Testa, Jr. (Karen) of Maple Grove, MN; Randy Testa of Cambridge, MA; David Testa (Cindy) of Marietta, GA; Larry Testa (Karen) of Princeton, NJ; Carl Testa of Atlanta, GA; brother, Bill Sprit of London, OH; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Catholic Church of St. Ann at 2:00 p.m.
