Capitola "Cappie" M. Barrett

Mrs. Cappie M. Barrett, age 89, of Mobile, AL passed away August 16, 2018. She was a native of Jay County Indiana. She was the wife of a former Methodist Minister, Dr. Donald D. Clark, where she worked in the corporate world and enjoyed being a pastor's wife. She later married Ralph E. Barrett of Cumming. She was a practice manager for Dr. Charles E. Johnson, MD. She moved from Marietta to Mobile two years ago to live by the bay with her daughter, Shirley Clark. She enjoyed reading books, gardening and will be remembered for her delicious family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands.

Survived by her son, Leslie D. Clark and his wife Gloria; daughters, Shirley Clark, Judy Melton and her husband, Tony Melton; grandsons, Ben Melton and his wife Chelsea, Adam Melton; step children, Travis and his wife Melinda Barrett and children, Richard and Ellen Barrett; step daughter, Teresa Crawford and her husband Paul and her children, Valerie and Laura; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday August 20 at 11 AM in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Cheek officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends between the hours of 3 until 6 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
