Catherine Austin Smith

Mrs. Catherine Austin Smith, 55 of Marietta, GA passed away August 31, 2012. She was born in Tullahoma, TN on June 20, 1957. She graduated from Tullahoma High School and earned her bachelor and master’s degrees from Middle Tennessee State University. Catherine enjoyed a career in the insurance industry. She was always honest and very straight forward. Catherine was a beautiful woman, very loving, a wonderful and devoted mother and a great daughter. She was an avid reader and a lifelong catholic and a parishioner at The Catholic Church of St. Ann. She was preceded in death by her husband Donny Smith. Catherine leaves behind her son, Jamie Smith of Marietta, GA, daughter, Jenna Smith of Murfreesboro, TN, parents, Theodore and Margaret Austin of Tullahoma, TN, brother, Steven Austin (Charlotte) of Athens, AL and sister, Andrea Kincannon (Dave) of Winchester, TN. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 2:00pm at The Catholic Church of St. Ann. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
